Do You Qualify?

There are three funded options for you to consider depending on your circumstances.

Government Funded Option

At least 250 cows producing 1500m2 of liquid manure per year.
200m2 of available space on the farm to house the system.
You sign up to a 20 year lease with a reputable pension fund.
After 20 years, the machine can be passed to you for a pound.
The AD machine remains the property of the pension fund until the transfer at which point you take responsibility for its maintenance.
The pension fund pay for this to be installed and maintained on your land by receiving the RHI (heat incentive payments) and FIT (feed in tariff payments for unused electricity exported to the National Grid).

The AD machine will be fully installed, maintained and insured at no cost to you
You receive all of the heat and the electricity to use on the farm and in your houses so no more fuel bills!

You receive all of the RHI payments and FIT payments once exported to the national grid
The AD machine is yours to do with as you wish
Based on the income you receive and the savings you make, the machine pays for itself within 3-4 years of purchase

Shire Asset Finance can assist you in paying for your AD machine in installments and you will own the asset once all payments have been made. The Asset Finance company will deal with each farm on a case by case basis, similar to your other farm machinery.
